El Dorado Palms Neighborhood Walking Tour
From Apr 24, 2026, 9:15 AM PT to Apr 24, 2026, 11:30 AM PT

Information

Join us for a 1/3-mile walking tour through El Dorado Palms Estates (est. 1959), one of Indian Wells’ most architecturally significant neighborhoods. Hosted by the Indian Wells Preservation Foundation, this curated experience highlights the essence of mid-century modern design—clean lines, indoor-outdoor living, and timeless desert style.

The tour features homes by notable architects including John Walling AIA, Charles Doty, John Outcault AIA, Charles DuBois AIA, and Hugh Kaptur AIA. Homes will be open exclusively to participants, offering a rare opportunity to explore these remarkable residences up close.

Check-in begins at 9:15 AM, with the tour running until approximately 11:30 AM. Tickets are $45, or $40 with an Indian Wells Resident Card. Light bites & refreshments will be served. Our friendly golf cart volunteers will provide rides if needed or requested.

Reserve your spot today and experience the legacy of desert modernism.
